What Are Some Nicknames for the Queen?

Yes, I have been on a 4 day streak of having my posts be about Queen Elizabeth. But I can't help it! She's such an interesting amazing royal. Today, I am going to share with you some nicknames her family has for her.

Let's start when  she was child. Growing up, her family endearingly called her Lilibet.

The Queen was known as Shirley Temple by her uncle, the Duke of Windsor, a fact made popular from Season 1 of the Netflix Original, The Crown. Note: This was not a loving or endearing nickname.

Prince Philip, her husband of 70 years has been known to call her Cabbage.

This is how I viewed the wedding. 4:00 am - Turned on the television. At this point, people had not started to arrive yet, and it was mainly reporters speculating about Meghan's dress. 4:30 to 5:00 am - People started to come, mainly aristocrats, Hollywood stars, and friends of Harry and Meghan, including Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, and Prince Harry's ex Chelsy Davy. Reporters also interviewed people who had charities that Harry and Meghan supported. Sometime after that, (I lost track of the time,) some more celebrities and aristocrats came, including the Middletons, the Beckhams and the Clooneys, as well as some more actresses. Then, the royal family began to arrive. The first royal that I saw was Zara Tindall, who is  pregnant with her second child, who is due v...

Yes, you read that correctly. You can currently view costumes and props from The Crown at the Winterthur Museum in Delaware. Some of the most impressive and iconic costumes on display are... 1. Queen Elizabeth's Coronation Gown 2. Prince Philip's Uniform 3. Queen Mary of Teck's Dress 4. Queen Elizabeth's Black Coat (When she gets off the plane in season 1, episode 2) 5. Queen Elizabeth's Wedding Dress 6. Princess Margaret's Wedding Dress 7. Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret's Ballgowns (The two on t...
