Today marks the 20th anniversary of Diana, Princess of Wales's death. This is a very sad occasion so in the comments bar below, you are free to write where you were when you heard of Princess Diana's death and other memories you had of the beloved Princess Diana.      Image by Rick.

Why Has Prince Harry Not Proposed Yet?

We have been waiting an extremely long time for Prince Harry to propose to Meghan Markle. When it was released that the couple was going to Africa to celebrate her birthday everyone was sure that Prince Harry was going to propose for that was also the place Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton. Now, while Prince Harry may have proposed to Meghan Markle, he must get permission from the Queen. She has the final say. Or Prince Harry may be waiting for a different time to propose. Can't wait to find out what happens. I will tell you if and when they get engaged! Meghan Markle photo by: Genevieve Prince Harry photo by: DoD News Features

How Are Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth Related?

Did you know that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are not only related by marriage? Kinda gross, right? In fact Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are third cousins. So here is how it goes: The Queen and Prince Philip are both descendants of Queen Victoria. Queen Elizabeth's great grandfather is Queen Victoria's son Edward VII. Queen Victoria's daughter Princess Alice is Prince Philip's great grandmother. Queen Victoria is where the Queen and Prince meet on the family tree. An interesting royal who is also related through Queen Victoria is Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia, who's great grandmother is Queen Victoria and who's grandmother is Princess Alice. Princess Alice's daughter is Alexandra Feodorovna. This means that Prince Philip is the great nephew of Alexandra Feodorovna, who's daughter is Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna, the Grand Duchess famously known for being killed and then have imposters claiming to be the duchess many

Dear Prince Vincent

Today Prince Vincent  started school at TranegÃ¥rd School and was extremely nervous and shed some tears. So I have written this letter to him. Dear Prince Vincent, Congratulations on starting school! It's a big deal. And it's okay to be nervous and cry. When I started kindergarten, I was so nervous and did not want to leave my mother too. So here is what I did to feel less nervous and help me when I missed my mom. My mom and I wore necklaces shaped like Mickey Mouse heads and when we missed each other, we would touch them. Now, I'm not so sure that you want to wear a necklace to school everyday, so maybe you could have something with you that your mom, Princess Mary has all day with her too, whether it's jewelry or something else (preferably something you can wear). Also, just like you, I am a twin. Now, unlike you, my twin and I were in the same classroom, so we could see each other whenever. But I'm sure that you could ask a teacher and you could see your sister

Adorable Denmark Twins

The School Year is almost here and the Danish royal twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine look adorable in their backpacks posing for pictures that mark their first day of school. The twins will be attending Grade 0  at Tranegard School. Luckily for them, they are twins and will both know at least one person on their first day! Vincent and Josephine's older siblings Prince Christian and Princess Isabella also will be going to the same school as them. Their mother, Princess Mary has announced that the twins will be put in separate classrooms. Not long after the danish royal twins start school, Prince George, Prince William and Princess Kate's son will be starting school at day school in Battersea. Who Are The Danish Royals?

Recently we have heard about the Danish royal family quite a bit in the news. But who are they? Lets find out. The Queen of Denmark is Queen Margrethe II. She is married to Prince Henrik. They have 2 sons. Their oldest son is Crown Prince Frederik. He is married to Mary Donaldson, who is Crown Princess. They have 4 children. Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent, and Princess Josephine. The family also has a dog Grace. The second son of Margrethe and Henrik is Prince Joachim. Prince Joachim was married to Alexandra Manley and they had two sons together Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix. In his second and current marriage to Marie Cavallier he has two children; Prince Henrik and Princess Athena. So now you have it, the Danish Royal Family.

Grave Royal Issue

Queen Margrethe II of Denmark's husband, Prince Henrik of Denmark has announced that when he passes he does not want to be buried next to his wife. The reason behind this very unusual and in my opinion quite mean wish is that he is displeased that he has never and never will be his wife, the Queen's equal in his lifetime. Therefore he does not want to be her equal in death if he was not her equal in life. Therefore the married couple will not be traditionally buried together at Roskilde Cathedral when the time comes for them to depart from this world. As a review of the couple's history: Prince Henrik met his future wife the then Crown Princess Margrethe in London when he was stationed as a diplomat. They married in 1967. They have two sons and eight grandchildren. Now to most people, getting a royal title is a big deal and they would be, for the most part happy with whatever title they received. This was not the case for Prince Henrik. In Denmark, when the Crown Prin

Queen Elizabeth!!!

Take a guess at how many alcoholic drinks Queen Elizabeth II has per day. If you guessed 4 drinks. You would be correct. Now guess how many of those 4 drinks are had early in the day. If you guessed 3 you are correct. The Queen of England starts out her course of four drinks a little before her lunch with a gin and Dubonnet with a slice of lemon and some ice. Then during her lunch she has a piece of chocolate and a glass of wine at the end of the meal. Then also during her lunch she has a dry gin martini which was announced to the public by her now late cousin Margaret Rhodes. The Queen then finishes her day off with a glass of Champagne before she goes to bed. That is quite a lot of drinks in one day.     Information from: Vanity Fair Image by: Bill Ingalls

British Royal Family Movie Night

Royal movies are great movies! Here are some royal family movies that I have seen and I think are must sees for anyone who is obsessed with the British Royal Family. 1. The Kings Speech This movie is about how King George VI works with speech therapist Lionel to help him with his stammer. At the same time, World War II is going on and the country needs to hear a speech from their king. This movie features Colin Firth as King George VI and Helena Bonham Carter and the Queen Mum. Geoffrey Rush portrays Lionel. 2. The Queen This amazing royal movie follows the aftermath of the death of Princess Diana. The Queen and Prime Minister Tony Blair are in an argument about how the royal family should publicly respond to the situation. This movie features Helen Mirren as the Queen and plays the role amazingly. 3. Elizabeth at 90: A Family Portrait This movie, while a documentary paints a beautiful portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Narrated by her son Prince Charles, this documentary shows a

Prince Sverre Magnus's Broken Bone

Oh no! Prince Sverre Magnus of Norway has broken his ankle. This tragic event was confirmed on Sunday by the Norwegian Royal Court. The young prince broke said ankle while riding his bike. He will now have to wear plaster and crutches. Recently, Prince Sverre Magnus, the youngest son of Crown Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit has been in the public eye very much. Before the breaking of his ankle, a few months ago he participated in numerous celebrations for King Harald and Queen Sonja, who both turned 80. He was also present at the unveiling of a statue of Queen Sonja, and was seen scowling. Along with that, Prince Sverre Magnus preformed a dab on the balcony during his grandparents birthday celebrations. Hopefully the Prince will have a speedy recovery and be able to ride his bike again soon. Source: royalcentral.co.uk/europe/norway/prince-sverre-magnus-of-norway-breaks-his-ankle-86122
