The Royal Baby Name Is...

Yes! We finally know the name of the new royal baby, born on Monday. The name is...


Prince Louis Arthur Charles!

His title is His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.

Now, who is he named after? I think that he is named after Louis Mountbatten, who was Prince Philip's uncle, and a close confidant of the Royal Family, especially Princes Philip and Charles. He was killed by the IRA, an incident which deeply saddened Prince Charles, which leads me to the name Arthur. Arthur is the name of many Kings in British History, so the name is solidly a British Royal Name that many British Royals have as their middle names. Finally, the name Charles. It is obviously his grandfathers name, which makes a lot of sense why the waited for Prince Charles to meet the baby before the released his name. I can't wait to hear more about Prince Louis, and I will keep you posted.

    Love all the traditional names... I wonder what would happen if his parents had wanted to call him something incredibly modern though. Prince Kylo Jayden Zain? Do you think someone would have asked them to reconsider : )

A Clarifying Answer to a Frequently Asked Question

A frequently asked question about Meghan Markle is: "Will Meghan Markle be Princess Meghan?" The answer is no. Meghan Markle will not be a Princess, just like Princess Kate. Now wait, you are probably thinking: "But, isn't Princess Kate a princess?" The answer to this is simple.
