Royal Travels: Scotland

I am so sorry it has been so long since I have posted. But, I have been on a very royal vacation to Scotland, which is what this post is all about. I started out my trip in Edinburgh, Scotland. Edinburgh has tons of royal history. It has the Royal Mile, which is the mile long road between Edinburgh Castle, and Palace at Holyroodhouse, which the Queen was in residence at for part of my stay in Scotland. Edinburgh Castle Since Palace at Holyroodhouse was in residence, I went to Edinburgh Castle first. Edinburgh Castle was built on volcanic rock in the 12th century, and is older than Palace at Holyroodhouse. It was home to the Scottish kings and queens. The rock face, made from volcanic rocks was supposed to be impossible to climb, and helpful during war, unfortunately, the rock face is not impossible to climb, but takes a lot of skill.      At Edinburgh Castle, you can see the Scottish Crown Jewels, which are older than the English Crown Jewels due to the fact that the origin
