King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands used to not only carry out his royal duties, but also was a guest pilot on KLM's Fokker 70 planes and way before that on a Dutch plane called Martinair. Twice a month, the king would fly as a guest pilot. It was just a fun hobby that he took part in twice a month that he did for twenty one years. But it makes you wonder "Was a royal the pilot on any of the plane rides I've been on?" Who knows what other interesting part time jobs royals around the world hold. What if you have been in the same room as a royal and you did not even know it?

He actually had to stop because the aircraft retires. He is now actually training to fly a boeing and plans to be back. He has used the alias van buren in the past so if you are ever in a dutch plane and the pilot is named van buren I would check him out...
