Her Royal Highness

First things first, Meghan's dress was gorgeous. It was simple, elegant, and stunning. The second thing is, the fasinators were amazing! But, before I get into that, let's start at the beginning. This is how I viewed the wedding. 4:00 am - Turned on the television. At this point, people had not started to arrive yet, and it was mainly reporters speculating about Meghan's dress. 4:30 to 5:00 am - People started to come, mainly aristocrats, Hollywood stars, and friends of Harry and Meghan, including Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, and Prince Harry's ex Chelsy Davy. Reporters also interviewed people who had charities that Harry and Meghan supported. Sometime after that, (I lost track of the time,) some more celebrities and aristocrats came, including the Middletons, the Beckhams and the Clooneys, as well as some more actresses. Yes! We finally know the name of the new royal baby, born on Monday. The name is... Prince Louis Arthur Charles! His title is His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge. Now, who is he named after? I think that he is named after Louis Mountbatten, who was Prince Philip's uncle, and a close confidant of the Royal Family, especially Princes Philip and Charles. He was killed by the IRA, an incident which deeply saddened Prince Charles, which leads me to the name Arthur. Arthur is the name of many Kings in British History, so the name is solidly a British Royal Name that many British Royals have as their middle names. Finally, the name Charles. It is obviously his grandfathers name, which makes a lot of sense why the waited for Prince Charles to meet the baby before the released his name. I can't wait to hear more about Prince Louis, and I will keep you posted.

I have wonderful, amazing, super good news that will cheer you up this Monday. Princess Kate has given birth to baby no.3! Prince George and Princess Charlotte now have a baby brother, and I am so happy for William and Kate, and the the rest of the royal family. My congratulations to Queen Elizabeth II for reaching the wonderful and impressive age of 92. Through her life, the Queen has overcome and celebrated many milestones. I hope that this upcoming year will be eventful and memorable, and she will continue to enjoy life, horses, and her dorgis (dauschund corgi mixes). God save the Queen. -Alverdine

What could be better than celebrating Easter with chocolate eggs sold by the Royal Family?           The Royal Collection Trust, which is the seller of the official royal gifts and souvenirs. It is currently selling Prince Harry and Meghan Markle commemorative china, and, just in time for Easter, chocolate eggs. In fact, they are providing two different types of chocolate eggs. They are selling a box of many smaller eggs, and a long box with larger eggs that are decorated and have flavors. If you are celebrating Passover and are throwing a Royal Family themed Seder, or are hosting a Seder and need dessert, The Royal Collection Trust sells a number of decedent chocolate bars such as milk chocolate and mint or milk chocolate and orange. Recently, I got to try out a Virtual Reality headset, and I went on a tour of Buckingham Palace, using YouTubeVR. The video was made by the Royal Family themselves. The tour is led by the Master of the Household, and a curator of paintings for The Royal Collection Trust. As they lead you through certain rooms in the palace, they point out paintings and artifacts and tell you the stories behind them. They also tell you how Buckingham Palace came to be. Did you know that Buckingham Palace was not always called Buckingham Palace, but Buckingham House, and it was a residence to the Duke of Buckingham, and then bought as a private house for George III, the King famously known for being king during the Revolutionary War? They also take you into the throne room, where you can see both Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's thrones.  Tiaras. The most associated accessory of a princess. Did you know that the Queen lends out her tiaras to Princess Kate and the rest of the royal family, and they are all owned by her? Also, if you had not noticed, tiaras are only for nighttime events, and fascinators and hats are worn at daytime events. But, where can you, as a royal watcher purchase a tiara.
