Ascension Day

Today is Queen Elizabeth's Ascension Day, one of the saddest days of the year for her, because it marks the death of her father and her rise to the throne. On this day, the Queen takes the day to herself, and she does not partake in any type of celebration. She mainly just has quiet reflection, as well as time to mourn her father. She credits her unusually long reign to the early death of her father.

The Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!

First things first, Meghan's dress was gorgeous. It was simple, elegant, and stunning. The second thing is, the fasinators were amazing! But, before I get into that, let's start at the beginning. This is how I viewed the wedding. 4:00 am - Turned on the television. At this point, people had not started to arrive yet, and it was mainly reporters speculating about Meghan's dress. 4:30 to 5:00 am - People started to come, mainly aristocrats, Hollywood stars, and friends of Harry and Meghan, including Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, and Prince Harry's ex Chelsy Davy. Reporters also interviewed people who had charities that Harry and Meghan supported. Royal Wedding Traditions

  Royals love tradition, and royal weddings are the perfect place to see some of their traditions. With two royal weddings on the way, I thought it would be interesting to share some royal wedding tradition with you, and tell you which traditions so far we know Meghan Markle and Prince Harry plan not to do, and if Princess Eugenie has a traditional wedding, what she could do. My personal favorite cake flavor is chocolate. But, the British Royal Family's traditional wedding cake flavor is.... Fruit Cake! Yes, it is traditional to serve fruit cake at a royal wedding. Some royals who have followed this tradition are: Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (William and Kate).
