Royals and the Olympics

The Winter Olympics have started! Yes, the British Royal Family does have a royal at the Olympics, and who better than to send Princess Anne, who is the mother of Summer Olympian, equestrian, and member of the Royal Family, Zara Tindall. Zara Tindall participated in the 2012 London Summer Olympics, and is not the first Olympian in her family. Her father, Mark Phillips, was also an Olympian.

A royal who was supposed to be attending the Winter Olympics was Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, had to rush home due to Prince Henrik's health worsening. I will keep you updated on the Prince's condition.

Princess Charlene of Monaco was also an Olympian, but in the Summer Olympics. She was a swimmer for South Africa.

The Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!

First things first, Meghan's dress was gorgeous. It was simple, elegant, and stunning. The second thing is, the fasinators were amazing! But, before I get into that, let's start at the beginning. This is how I viewed the wedding. 4:00 am - Turned on the television. At this point, people had not started to arrive yet, and it was mainly reporters speculating about Meghan's dress. 4:30 to 5:00 am - People started to come, mainly aristocrats, Hollywood stars, and friends of Harry and Meghan, including Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, and Prince Harry's ex Chelsy Davy. Reporters also interviewed people who had charities that Harry and Meghan supported. Sometime after that, (I lost track of the time,) some more celebrities and aristocrats came, including the Middletons, the Beckhams and the Clooneys, as well as some more actresses. Royal Wedding Traditions

Royals love tradition, and royal weddings are the perfect place to see some of their traditions. With two royal weddings on the way, I thought it would be interesting to share some royal wedding tradition with you, and tell you which traditions so far we know Meghan Markle and Prince Harry plan not to do, and if Princess Eugenie has a traditional wedding, what she could do. My personal favorite cake flavor is chocolate. But, the British Royal Family's traditional wedding cake flavor is.... Fruit Cake! Yes, it is traditional to serve fruit cake at a royal wedding. Some royals who have followed this tradition are: Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (William and Kate).
