Happy Birthday Princess Catharina Amalia!

Today is Catharina Amalia, Princess of Orange's fourteenth birthday! Princess Catharina Amalia is the heir apparent to the Netherlands throne, the oldest of three sisters. She lives in Netherlands and as I write this it is 1:45 am in the Netherlands, so her birthday celebrations have come to an end, and today (for her, tomorrow for us)  will be her first day of being fourteen! Happy Birthday!

The Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!

First things first, Meghan's dress was gorgeous. It was simple, elegant, and stunning. The second thing is, the fasinators were amazing! But, before I get into that, let's start at the beginning. This is how I viewed the wedding. 4:00 am - Turned on the television. It's A Boy!!!!

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has given birth to a baby boy! According to the Royal Family's Twitter, the baby weighs seven pounds and three ounces. Prince Harry has announced that they will share the name as a family in two days time. I am personally delighted with the news and will keep you posted. -Alverdine

Royal Travels: Costuming The Crown

I recently went to the exhibit Costuming The Crown, at Winterthur, the estate of the du Pont family in Delaware, United States. While Delaware may seem like an unlikely place for royal happenings, it currently houses an exhibit with approximately 40 costumes and props from the award winning Netflix television show, The Crown.
