Congratulations William and Kate!

Congratulations Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge!

Today, the palace confirmed that Princess Kate and Prince William are expecting their third child! Yay!

Princess Kate suffers from a morning sickness called Hyperemesis Gravidarum, and since she had to cancel all of her meetings, the palace announced that she was pregnent. Princess Kate is only a few weeks pregnant though, and is being cared for at Kensington Palace.

A big thing we are all dying to know is what they baby's name will be! William and Kate have clearly been sticking to giving their children strong traditional names. In the comments bar, tell us what names you think will be a strong candidate, for me, if it's a boy I think they might name him Louis, after Louis Mountbatten, who was very close to both Prince Philip and Prince Charles. Even though Louis is one of Prince George's middle names, the family is seen commonly reusing names on multiple members of the family. If it's a girl, I think that her parents will either name her Diana, in memory of Princess Diana or will name her after Princess Alice of Battenberg (Prince Philip's mother)  or Mary after Queen Mary of Teck (Queen Elizabeth's grandmother).  Post what you think a good name would be in the comments section.

I will keep you posted! Once again, Congratulations to William and Kate!

  3. Oh, I do hope they use Diana for a girl!! Even though I LOVE Charlotte (I mean, obvs...!) I was quite disappointed they didn't use Diana straight away for their first girl. I love names steeped in meaning and memory, and I don't really think there is any name that has more of that (especially to William and Catherine!) than Diana.

The Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!

First things first, Meghan's dress was gorgeous. It was simple, elegant, and stunning. The second thing is, the fasinators were amazing! But, before I get into that, let's start at the beginning. This is how I viewed the wedding. 4:00 am - Turned on the television. At this point, people had not started to arrive yet, and it was mainly reporters speculating about Meghan's dress. 4:30 to 5:00 am - People started to come, mainly aristocrats, Hollywood stars, and friends of Harry and Meghan, including Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, and Prince Harry's ex Chelsy Davy. Reporters also interviewed people who had charities that Harry and Meghan supported. Sometime after that, (I lost track of the time,) some more celebrities and aristocrats came, including the Middletons, the Beckhams and the Clooneys, as well as some more actresses. Then, the royal family began to arrive. The first royal that I saw was Zara Tindall, who is  pregnant with her second child, who is due v...

Royal Travels: Costuming The Crown

I recently went to the exhibit Costuming The Crown, at Winterthur, the estate of the du Pont family in Delaware, United States. While Delaware may seem like an unlikely place for royal happenings, it currently houses an exhibit with approximately 40 costumes and props from the award winning Netflix television show, The Crown. Yes, you read that correctly. You can currently view costumes and props from The Crown at the Winterthur Museum in Delaware. Some of the most impressive and iconic costumes on display are... 1. Queen Elizabeth's Coronation Gown 2. Prince Philip's Uniform 3. Queen Mary of Teck's Dress 4. Queen Elizabeth's Black Coat (When she gets off the plane in season 1, episode 2) 5. Queen Elizabeth's Wedding Dress 6. Princess Margaret's Wedding Dress 7. Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret's Ballgowns (The two on t...
