Take a guess at how many alcoholic drinks Queen Elizabeth II has per day.
If you guessed 4 drinks. You would be correct.
Now guess how many of those 4 drinks are had early in the day.
If you guessed 3 you are correct.
The Queen of England starts out her course of four drinks a little before her lunch with a gin and Dubonnet with a slice of lemon and some ice. Then during her lunch she has a piece of chocolate and a glass of wine at the end of the meal. Then also during her lunch she has a dry gin martini which was announced to the public by her now late cousin Margaret Rhodes. The Queen then finishes her day off with a glass of Champagne before she goes to bed.
That is quite a lot of drinks in one day.

I am amazed that she gets anything accomplished drinking that much!
ReplyDeleteWow. I had no idea! Then again, she seems well-preserved.
