Prince Charles, Diana, and Camilla

Charles had been dating Camilla Parker Bowles (his second wife) long before he met Diana. He then broke up with her and married Diana. The trouble in their marriage started on their honeymoon, on the HMS Britannia. Prince Charles spent most of his time on the honeymoon alone painting watercolors. This made Diana so mad she destroyed his painting equipment so he could no longer paint. Another time that Charles damaged their relationship was when they were talking about their schedules, and then it happened. A picture of Camilla fell out of his diary. After the diary incident, Diana noticed Prince Charles wearing cufflinks C's on them, which Diana interpreted to mean Prince Charles and Camilla. Eventually Charles and Diana got divorced and Prince Charles married Camilla, who had also had a divorce.

The Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!

First things first, Meghan's dress was gorgeous. It was simple, elegant, and stunning. The second thing is, the fasinators were amazing! But, before I get into that, let's start at the beginning. This is how I viewed the wedding. 4:00 am - Turned on the television. At this point, people had not started to arrive yet, and it was mainly reporters speculating about Meghan's dress. 4:30 to 5:00 am - People started to come, mainly aristocrats, Hollywood stars, and friends of Harry and Meghan, including Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, and Prince Harry's ex Chelsy Davy. Reporters also interviewed people who had charities that Harry and Meghan supported. Sometime after that, (I lost track of the time,) some more celebrities and aristocrats came, including the Middletons, the Beckhams and the Clooneys, as well as some more actresses. It's A Boy!!!!

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has given birth to a baby boy! According to the Royal Family's Twitter, the baby weighs seven pounds and three ounces. Prince Harry has announced that they will share the name as a family in two days time. I am personally delighted with the news and will keep you posted. -Alverdine

I recently went to the exhibit Costuming The Crown, at Winterthur, the estate of the du Pont family in Delaware, United States. While Delaware may seem like an unlikely place for royal happenings, it currently houses an exhibit with approximately 40 costumes and props from the award winning Netflix television show, The Crown.
