Farewell The Fab Four

William and Catherine of Cambridge and Harry and Meghan of Sussex, who have all been living in Kensington Palace and have become known as the Fab Four, are splitting. Harry and Meghan, who are expecting their first child, are moving to Frogmore at Windsor, and will no longer be a team with William and Catherine. (Yes, her name is Catherine, not Kate!) While we can still expect to see them together, it will be more rare, and less often. If you want to see a royal sibling and spouse group, watch out for Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York plus Jack Brooksbank, Princess Eugenie's husband, and maybe even Edoardo Mapelli, Princess Beatrice's new boyfriend.   Image by Mark Jones

What Do You Think Meghan and Harry Will Name Their Baby?

Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are expecting their first child, and there has been a lot of speculation as to what they are going to be naming the newest member of the British Royal Family. According to People Magazine , Prince Charles says he thinks they may name their baby Kylie or Shane. I personally think that they will go for a modern twist on a traditional name, like Lizzie as a modern twist to Elizabeth. Or I think they will mix a popular name with a traditional name like Alice Olivia or Liam Edward. I also think they will incorporate Diana into the name, either by literally adding the name Diana or a name starting with the letter D. What do you think they will name the baby? What Could Meghan Have Said?

According to People , Kate Middleton apparently cried at a dress fitting for Princess Charlotte in preparation for Harry and Meghan's wedding. It is said that Meghan Markle had said something to cause Kate to cry, but what could it possibly have been? What many sources speculate is that because Kate Middleton had just given birth to Prince Louis, she was probably more emotional than she would have been on a normal day, and misunderstood or taken something the wrong way, or perhaps their are some tensions between the sisters-in-law that we as the public do not know about. It is noticeable that while Kate is very quiet and reserved, Meghan is more loud and extroverted, and the two different personalities may cause a weird relationship. I do hope that all is well in their relationship and we see the Cambridges and the Sussexes soon.   Image by Mark Jones

What Dog Breed Does The Queen Have?

A dorgi! (Not the Queen's though) The Queen does not unfortunately own any corgis anymore. As many people know, her last corgi, Whisper died in October. But, does this mean that The Queen has no more dogs? No! Absolutely not. The Queen, who is a dog lover still owns dorgis, a dachshund corgi mix she breeds herself. The Queen's two dorgis are named Vulcan and Candy. The Queen has no intentions to ever breed any more dogs because she doesn't want her dogs to outlive her. Other royals also have dogs. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a black cocker spaniel named Lupo, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have two dogs. Queen Victoria, Queen of the Royals

Almost all of European Royalty can trace themselves back to Queen Victoria. What!!?? Let me explain. Queen Victoria had many children, and grandchildren. As of only a few years ago, it was uncommon for a royal to marry a commoner, or someone of non royal blood, so royals almost always married other royals. So Queen Victoria's children and grandchildren married other royals, connecting themselves to Queen Victoria. For example, Princess Maud of Wales, Queen Victoria's granddaughter, married Haakon VII of Norway, and connected the British Royal Family to the Norwegian Royal Family. Another example is that Princess Alix of Hesse and by Rhine, who was another granddaughter of Queen Victoria, married Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, connected the British Royal Family to the Russian Royal Family. A third example is Princess Alice of Battenberg, a great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria, who married Prince Andrew of Greece connected the British Royal to the Greek Royal Family. There are ...

6 Books to Buy If You Loooveee The Royal Family

Since right now is a popular time to buy gifts, why not treat yourself to a good non fiction book about royals? Here are 6 books that I have read and recommend you should get if love the British Royal Family. Not in Front of the Corgis by Brian Hoey gives you a unique inside view to unique aspects of what goes on behind the palace doors. For example, since the corgis usually stay near to the Queen, if a staff member says "Not in front of the corgis." it means the Queen is near.  At Home with the Queen , also by Brian Hoey, is also a delightful book which focuses mainly on the Palace staff for the Queen, and other parts of royal life. While this book may seem very similar to Not in Front of the Corgis, I can assure you that the books each contain mostly different information with little overlap.  The Final Curtsey , by Margaret Rhodes, is a memoir written by the Queen's maternal cousin. The book contains various childhood memories as Rhodes recounts ga...

Did You Know This About The Duchess of Cambridge? Plus a New Fact

A few days ago, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, otherwise known as Kate Middleton, revealed an interesting fact about her major in college. The Duchess attended St. Andrews University in Scotland, which is where she met her future husband Prince William. It turns out, she actually started her out her college years as a psychology major, but ended up switching to and art history major. The Duchess opened up about her college experiences on a solo outing to University London College. She wore a burgundy blazer which matched her sister-in-law Meghan Markle's burgundy dress and jacket on her own solo outing to The Hubb Community Kitchen. Speaking of sisters, Pippa Matthews (nee Middleton), the Duchess of Cambridge's sister, who gave birth to a son roughly a month ago has named him Arthur.   Image by: British High Commission, New Delhi Information on college and Meghan Markle outing learned via article by Elle.
